...to get Bananarama! off my returning Roadrunner.

Went to 'just' replace the broken charge wire at the back of the alternator usual five minute job.,but no, the nut wont come undone; somehow it's welded itself on to the stud until it eventually snapped off and has now damaged the alternator.
That'll be a new one then..

24 hours... :violent3:

Yeh, stupid stuff happens to these cars that you just couldn't make up.
Oh well, it was old and I'll do the wiring upgrade all in one hit now.

but look on the bright side.

It didn't snap off and fall into the engine, like deep into it

Plus you live by the seaside, you have nothing to complain about !! :D

Looking at the Thread title, I assumed it was about the race track in LeMans...

Yeah, just another ton on the credit card..at xmas..

Then I drove the Mustang and it felt like a new car..headlamps are bright, heater is hot, it goes around corners. Common sense V romance...

Hey Justin, I live by the sea, but it's dark. I might fall in. Far safer in Swindon :D

Fair play, Dunc, but I can't really claim that the Mustang equates to a Bentley Turbo

Point made though, for sure.

Pete, I still enjoy them but you know what I mean, I'm sure. All my friends wanted me to buy the Roadrunner back, but they ain't paying and working on it :help:

Park the two of them side by side Miles, then choose! :D

As much as I enjoyed the Mustang when I had it, it can't compare to the looks and presence of the roadrunner.
