Thanks for that but it's body work I'm after.
Tell you what it is. I have a project to build a front of a '70 charger.
I can get a one piece fiberglass front end from the states but it's a' 68 and a reproduction '70 front bumper.
Just need to know if it's possible to put the two together and it look passable.

68 / 70 panels are different for sure, but you knew that, fenders, hood and valance
The main difference is the way the 68 fenders / hood are finished along the leading edge with a proper lip, 70 fenders / hood aren't finished the same as the edge is hidden behind the chrome loop bumper
Other differences, hood scallops, hood turn signal repeaters, side markers, turn signal / parking lamps
Good news, I think, for you is that the chrome loop bumper doesn't actually attach to the fenders or valance as such, it sits just in front supported by 2 mahoosive brackets that go on to the frame rails, there are 2 small 'stays' that keep the top of the chrome loop bumper in check attached to the fender lip under the hood, but these could easily be modified to go back to the rad support frame
So, would a 70 chrome loop bumper look 'passable' sat in front of 68 panels?? Maybe
You're welcome to look at mine anytime but I don't know of a 68 round these parts to compare it with side by side

thank you very much for that Si, the details like bonnet, side markers are not a problem as it all wants smoothing in, same with the bumper, just trying to figure out if its anything like before importing stuff,Charger wrote:68 / 70 panels are different for sure, but you knew that, fenders, hood and valance
