Herts & Beds Xmas meal

Post by Stu Twin »

It's fast approaching that time of year (unfortunately) and I'll be booking a couple of tables soon for the Xmas meal.
Earlier this month we decided that Weds 6th Dec would suit the majority. (sorry, Rob & I are going to see Jimmy Barnes on the 13th) :headbang:
So if you fancy some top notch grub & some intellectual conversation let me know by replying to this post or by pm.

Where:
3 HORSESHOES PUB, HOOKS CROSS, WATTON AT STONE, HERTS SG14 3RY (Near Stevenage)
When:
Wednesday 6th December, 7.30 ish.
Who:
Anyone, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends (?), kids (over 18 I guess)
Menu:
See link:
https://www.destinationinns.co.uk/wp-co ... hree-h.pdf

:santa: :santa: :santa:

Merry Christmas!
Stu.

Thanks as ever for organising this.

Julie and I would love to come.

How soon do you need the deposits and the menu choices (hint: I can give you the deposit at the NEC!!!)

;) ;) ;) ;)

Don't worry James, we can dumb it down a bit for you. Plenty of kn@b gags etc.

Thanks Pete, that would be fine if you can't make the pub on the 8th. I think last year they asked for a deposit when i booked the table.

See you both on the 8th or 10th. or both.

I don't know why they feel the need to get all pretentious with the starters. What's wrong with tomato soup?
Think i'll choose by sticking a pin in the menu and have an extra Guinness to Bananarama! down.
Mains & puddings always good tho.

Poncy food and coffee are two of my pet hates. If next years menu mentions tweels or a foam I might have to punch someone...

Mr.Cheng Lim would like to attend, please!

He would like Trout, Turkey, and just Vanilla Ice Cream.

Thanks!
