popping and banging update

Post by graham fury »

the dizzy finally arrived on Wednesday had it fitted Saturday and all set up had to put a relay in place of the ballast resistor but other than that it was straight forward it runs sweet as a nut now and is a lot smoother and much more responsive on the throttle so it seems like it was 90 quid well spent :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

excellent news.....

can't go wrong with an HEI. designed to get GM through the 1970s emissions test when their engines couldn't run properly due to their horrible catalytic converter (that kept going on fire if it got went with unburnt fuel) and low CR

the module was used on
all GM
Peugeot
Jeep
renault
Jaguar (hidden in an expensive jag branded box to hide ist GM/motorola origins)

if it can fire off a V12 jag engine up to 7K rpm. no probs with a mopar v8
