car purchase in derby

hi can anyone suggest someone who can check a car over, my brother wants to buy his 1st yank which is in derby he knows nothing about cars so he wants some who could meet him in Derby to check the motor i have not got the time to go with him

My yank count is still only up to 1 so I'm not going to be able to nerd out and point out every bracket and screw that's incorrect but I know how to look for corrosion and bodges. If it were british leyland tin I'd probably be a lot more useful!!!
