someone only went and bought my oil drum bench seat i made for the garden
dawn said ''what am i going to sit on out there now then?''
so this afternoon i made number 1 of a set of chairs for her.
''don't put these on ebay'' she said sternly once i'd finished it.
''course not'' i said
i painted the wooden boards and the inside a duck egg blue/green colour and just satin varnished the rusty outside once i'd taken the roughness off with a scotchbrite pad. i'm quite pleased with it.

remember i collected that type 1 and rubble a while back for my new garage base, well the guy had another lot today that he'd already bagged. while we loaded the poor old merc again he said could you use any of this wood? some good long lengths of 6x2, some decking boards and a few lengths of batten. oh ok then, on the roof and strap it down. there was a fair bit more weight than before but we did it in 1 trip.
