NEC 2019 Cars Wanted Please

Hi all,

We have been offered a club stand again at the NEC Classic motor show. It is always a great event and is a fantastic opportunity to show off our cars to the masses. It is open to the public from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th Of November 2019.

We are asking for volunteers who want to display their car and can commit on the morning of Thursday 7th Nov 2019 to deliver it to us and collect it again on the evening of Sunday 10th Nov 2019. You don't have to be with the car over the 3 public days but we would love it if you could as its a good laugh and we can't possibly answer all the questions we will get about it. It goes without saying that the show is very secure and the cars will be safe.

As we are a small club, we don't have the funds to pay costs incurred (fuel, travel, hotels etc) but you do get free entry to the show and I always bring biscuits etc.

If you are interested, please let me know by posting here (with a pic of your car please) or by PM if you prefer. I can't guarantee that everyone will get to go as we only have space for 3 cars but if you don't get picked this year then I'm sure you will get a chance next year.

If there's a 50 years of the 1969 model year theme, even better, but if there's no theme, happy to offer it anyway!

We have a list now of cars that we are trying to keep under wraps (sort of) so that its a nice surprise when we attend. Thank you to everyone who responded and for your continued support of the club. I cant wait for the show and to see everyone.
