Lucky with the weather again at Old Warden this year... after a couple of wet and windy days, the Sunday was largely dry and calm. And the show'n'shine area got full early so one of the other adjacent fields got used for show cars too, but we didnt have time to look round them unfortunately (or fortunately, for my camera's sake).
Andy Saunders usually grabs the spotlight at this event, which he might normally have done with his murial'd Pop, if it weren't for Jules Verne turning up with some kind of time machine - steam punk'd hot rod creation...
We werent able to stick around for the awards so didnt get to find out about it or see if it even drives, but it gets my vote
I think you'll see which one I'm on about...
Great pictures Rob as always , and thanks for sharing , yes saw the Steam Punk rod , totally jaw dropping although never saw it arrive or leave so not sure if a driver or not , BUT WHAT A CREATION …………...where to start with a description though !!!.
Yours
GUY

...The Jules Verne Singer did drive, simply amazing thing.
Thanks Matt, I would have liked to have seen that. I presume it was only at walking pace to collect his award and that he didn't go out on the cruise...

Great pics, you were lucky with the weather, lovinthe muriels.
We sure were Derek. I normally steer clear of muriels these days (ie since the 70's ) but the quality of the artwork on the rear of the Pop really caught my eye ... as Dunc says, courtesy of Barbara Windsor
