MMA Connected magazine
The latest issue of Connected should be hitting your doormat soon. Many thanks to all contributors for their photos and words, especially Si for his road trip and Mark Blanchard for stunning photos.
Two things: firstly Russ from Customville has been in touch to make one point for clarification...Customville still use Summit but are not currently agents for that company.
Secondly, this edition is a little later than usual. This is because with the Nats going back a week into August this takes me, SImon Feaver who does the layout and printing and Sean who does the cover and Pete re his Chair's piece right into holiday season. All it takes is for one of us to be away and we cant get the edition out as quickly after the nats as we did before.
So there are two options. One: this slight delay does not matter to people. The result is the editions over the year will be April , mid Sept and end of December, so not evenly spaced but does mean there is some Nats coverage soon after the event. Two: people might prefer to have more evenly spaced issues - March JUly December BUT this means there wont be any Nats photos or content til December.
Does anyone have any strong views either way please?
Hope you enjoy this one
All the best
Simon

Re: MMA Connected magazine
Simon I did not even noticed it was late so I would not mind when the magazine arrives as it will be read and looked at whenever.
So thank you and all others for the hard work you all do and I have not had time to read it yet but the cover is fantastic.
Thank you
Ali

Yeah, wot they said

Re: MMA Connected magazine
about the issue dates
not really fussed either way
but i do like the idea of Nats coverage as soon as poss after the event
so how about evenly spacing them but still using September as the target ... September -> January -> May
you could still have your year end review stuff in the January issue and it would brighten up a normally dull January

Thanks for the replies gents. Si - firstly, thanks for giving us the info and photos from the trip; secondly interesting idea about January issue - certainly one to consider.
Any other opinions?

Re: MMA Connected magazine
Firstly, as above, thanks for all the effort you put in to this - it really is appreciated.
Re issue dates - personally I don't mind but am attracted to Si's suggestions. I do enjoy reading it whenever it comes through the letter box.
