Bicester Scramble April 23rd 2023

For once we were lucky with the weather!
80% chance of rain was forecast with less than 2 days to go so we were doubtful we'd be going but thankfully the % reduced by Saturday night and we woke to cloudy but dry conditions and managed to get there with skies clearing by 8am.

As Mark B says elsewhere, not many Yanks but a good mix of everything else, including the usual amount of 'how did that get in here?' (considering there's supposed to be a 1990 cut-off)

Good to see Mark and his Challenger looking great as usual, nabbing a prime spot on the main thoroughfare (not tucked away like us )
Shame Robert with the other Challenger didn't make it - presumably put off by the forecast?

Great shots Rob, thanks for sharing. The standard of cars was slightly higher this time around, last time I went it was largely 2CVs and Volvo 340s.

I'm not a fan of German cars, but that orange 1972 BMW 3.0 CSL looks quite good.

Haha yes I think I could probably fill one of the hangars there, with the cars I'd choose, if money were no object
