This is at the Royal Gunpowder Mills, Waltham Abbey, just off the M25 at the Herts/Essex border but on the ULEZ free side !
It's a really interesting venue if you have never been, worth a visit even without a car show on.

My name is Neil and I’m the organiser of a classic car & bike show called “Custom and Classic Show” based in Waltham Abbey, and would like to invite your club to our show on 22nd June 2025.
We love organising these events and have done so for many years. One of our previous events has been the “Herts Auto Show” which was predominately held at Stanborough Park, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Which had always been extremely popular, but we decided to branch out into new territory and hold a new and exciting event at “The Royal Gunpowder Mills”, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1JY. Just to give you a brief idea of our previous event.
At our last show we had over 400 cars & bikes on display and had over 3,000 people attend. We had local dealerships which included Audi and SBW Motorrad displaying current models and also local companies displaying items. We have had some great people supporting us at previous shows like Ant Anstead from “Wheeler Dealers” who is also in the Channel 4 series “For The Love of Cars” with Phillip Glenister, Bernie Fineman from the Channel 5 series “Classic Car Rescue”, Roberto Perrone from BBC Three Counties Radio, and Steve Parrish former professional motorcycle and truck racer winning many British Championships. There will be some recognisable faces at our show this time too. Also, not forgetting the “Best in Show” awards in which all exhibitors are in with a chance of winning.
Previous shows we have been able to allow all exhibitors free entry with their vehicles. However, with rising costs we have had to make a change and charge a nominal entrance fee of £5 per car (not per person). Remember proceeds raised will be donated to “Make-A-Wish Foundation UK” which we have been supporting for over ten years.
Your entry fee can be paid in advance when the booking is confirmed and can either be by a payment link or by bank transfer, whichever you would prefer. Once payment is received your entry pass will be sent over to you electronically or via post, please show this at the gate on the day of the show by mobile or printed so our security staff can issue you with your wristband to enter the showground.
If you are unable to purchase your entry pass before the event don’t worry you can purchase it on the gate on the day of the show.
If you pay your entry fee in advance, you will receive a unique discount code to purchase car detailing products from one of our main sponsor’s website “Ace Wax” as a thank you for your support, just enter your discount code at the checkout. Unfortunately we are unable to offer this if you purchase an entry on the day at the gate. On the day of the show we ask all exhibitors to arrive between 7:00am & 9:30am this is so you are able to park up before the gates open to the public at 10:00am. If you are unable to arrive until after 10am don’t worry you will still be able to exhibit your vehicle. This event is already proving very popular and we are recommending that all car clubs do register in advance (rather than purchase at the gate) so we can generate your required amount of passes for ease of entry on the day.
Once again thank you for getting in touch and we hope you will be joining us. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call us on 01707 376020 or 07930190601.
Kind Regards
Neil
