My Ranchero

Post by Rebel »

Thought it was about time I showed some pics of my Ranchero pick-up, the black one on the drive is just for spares and is a 1972 model with the later front panels fitted (think the front panels are 1974), fitted with 351 windsor and FMX gearbox with floor shift and has been in the UK since 1978. The one in the garage is a 1973 model (flat front panel, although not fitted at present), it was oiginally a Ford BB. When I bought it it had been fitted with a 351 cleveland, holley 750 DP and C6 box, complete with 9 inch axle, sadly the detroit locker was changed and I'm not sure what gearing is in there now. This one is column shift. need to finish extending the garage then a lot of work to do. This one has been in the UK since 1980 and I've owned it since 1991.

heres the pics

Fond of a treat aren't you?

Looks like a LOT of work. Remind me. How long has it taken to get this far? :?

It is the sort of thing Steve -B would take on without a second thought I would expect. You should sell them to him and he will have them both fixed up in time for the Nats. :D

And get some weed killer on that driveway!
