I've never heard of one, and I wouldn't want to use a forward pattern manual valve body in anger anyway from a safety point of view, I've seen what happens When it all goes wonky bent....

The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

Well Steve, you have to admit it is an unusual request!

You are right, a column shift would move the lever backward and forward quite nicely but I suspect it would not lock in and out properly on the column...but I was talking more about the letters on the shift indicator being back to front!

But as you have a more serious problem than simply the annoyance of back to front numbers on the indicator, I would imagine that even with a trans brake, that the flex in the tyres and suspension bushings will still trigger the beam when you load it up won't it?

It makes me wonder how the other racers manage at your local track, but to be honest, I think Duncan or Blue will be the ones to provide really valuable assistance on this one :)

OK, that's an odd one for sure! A trans brake equipped car will not move the front wheels in the beams, the rest of the car should not move either as the transmission is effectively locked so no torque is being applied to the prop. I have never heard of a fully automatic valve body that includes a transbrake in either forward or reverse pattern, and I can imagine there would be little demand for such a unit. A possible way around it might be the way they do it in Super stock in the states, (transbrakes are not allowed in this class) They use a line lock on the front and rear brakes wired in with a rev limiter set below the convertor stall speed, this allows them to sit in stage at full throttle without starting the clocks, just a thought...
