by memory i all ways thought it''s 10 revolutions of the prop and then count how many times the wheel rotates, or it might be the other way round , i forget now .i will check tomorrow , might be completly wrong though.

3.55 ratio is 1 turn of wheel,to 3 1/2 turns of prop.you must have 2.99 ratio.

forget my last post i was talking rubbish my memory is not what it was

it IS one turn of the wheel to how ever many times the prop shaft turns. sounds like 2: 94:1 , same as mine. 1 turn of the wheel to 2 & 9 tenths of the prop.

That is pushing the car on the ground? Is it one leg or Suregrip? Surgrip will be alright turning the wheel off the ground.

i had the car jack up, both wheels turned the same way, one turned of the wheel, three turns of the prop, when i went out with the owner of the garage, on a test drive, he said it shifted through the gears quite quickly? does this fit in with the gears that we`re talking about?
