OK guys I need help to cool off.
I'm running two cars both with the great big lumps of air con motor jammed on top of the engine and i cant get them re-gassed anywhere.
I understand that I need R12 and it is dodgy stuff.
Can any body help 73,78.

when i got my 78 fury topped up, they didnt have / weren;t allowed to stock new R12 gas, but they had some they sucked out of someone elses car, so they squirted in a bit of that,,, sorted.

i've always wondered if it was possible to pump the gas from a working car into a non working car just by connecting a tube between the two somehow!

You'd have to vac down your system then introduce the other cars stuff into the vac via a valve.......

Mines the same, it was great through the winter but now its just too hot, I was told on Sunday that it could be because I don't appear to have an air-con radiator, is this correct?

The Satellite I was looking at has an air-con rad sitting in front of the engine rad. I've never seen this on a charger, are Satellites different?
