Seat belts Front and rear 68 Chgr
I still have the lap section installed in the front of my Charger but the diaganol strap is missing. I note that there is a hole in the headlining above the rear qtr glass with a seat belt bolt hanging out.
Also the rear belts are missing (clearly the previous owner didn't like safety)
Where would I get new/replacement items from that are close enough to the original look. I have emailed Year One but had no response.
Help much appreciated as the war dept won't let the kids out in it till it's belted.

Try Ssnakeoil (type into google - they are an American firm). They restore / supply them to show quality standards. But, beware, they are hideously expensive and you may need a defibrilator on hand when you hear their prices.
I would have thought trying Duncan Watts (Cannonball on here) would be a good bet.??
Good luck Kimosabe

Are you desperate for originality?
If not I'd go with a more modern and easily accesible belt, lie the securon belt. That way you get the inertia reel etc and it'll only cost 30 odd quid a belt. You will probably need to get a different fixing bolt for the roof mount though. But as long as it is high tensile and with the correct thread it should be fine...

Got my belts from Canada via Ebay £60 inc the freight. Mine came out of an Imperial, they fitted fine. Can't find the sellers name ,but he often has belt sets for sale.

On a similar vein (not wanting to hijack the thread) but my Charger has the lap belts (reel on the sill side, and fixed length on the centre side) and also has a strap running along the top of the window (which seems to have its own latch).
Is this the mysterious 'shoulder belt' of which you speak ?

if it`s like the setup in my Barracuda, then the diagonal belt is bolt fixed above the rear quarter window and the belt is stored on two roof mounted clips parallel to the door glass (see pic). In use, it clips/hooks to the recoiling lap fixing mount. They are useless unless you pull them really tight, then you won`t be able to reach the switches unless you have monkey length arms
Check under the back seat for the rear belts, they may still be there.
