Anybody has any idea about the correct colour ? All I can find is either gloss black or stainles steel for my ' 71 Cuda. What about the yoke and opposing side.
Thanks

recently in mopar action they mentioned the props were painted in either left over body paint, or left bare metal. The same treatment as the control arms I believe.

prop on my 72 is red, which is the original colour
Mine was quite original when I got it. You could still see the colour inspection marks that had been painted on when you rubbed the surface rust back. But I can't for the life of me remember if there was any sign of a background paint.

all i do is once the propshaft is in rust free bare metal , or any thing else that is meant to be bare metal , just put a couple of coats of clear lacquer on it .
depends how original you want to go, if completely original looks is what you want then clearcoat the metal, it's gotta be better than leaving it bare.
