I say keep the paint! Slots are retro-cool at the mo, painted slots will be the next phase ...

Anywho, great improvement, look forward to seeing the completed look :)

I had painted slots on me Buick...with General Grabbers...no expense spared to make sure I was mister cool (well apart from the acne and long greasy hair)...but that was 30 years ago! ;)

yep the paints got to go looks as naf as white letter tyres, some things should never come back.

Best thing to do is polish the slots as well just like the wheels they were copied from. Thats what i am going to do to my rear Wolfies to match my new front wheels which are fully polished Halibrand replicas.

Keep polishing now you have roughed out the first two  Treat yourself to a new set of Lug nuts from MisteR Tee for the perfect finish

looks loads better! you're aiming for a finish that could be mistaken for chrome.

And I say red in the slots (thats how i want mine) but not in the date stamps etc.

Oh and let me know if you haven't bought a set of new centrecaps from me yet :)

They are indeed Kelly SuperChargers (with the letters outlined in white - originally :D ) N50 - 15's. Look great on the car but due to their height and square sidewall they rub on the outer arch, the walls are also seriously cracked and split. soon to be changed for a new set of 275/60/15's

This is what they came off........
