Re: B body axle
I think the springs are further apart on a 71 so the perches will have to be repositioned for a 69.

Re: billet ally thermostat housing ??
I've had one on the Road Runner for years and just used a standard gasket.

Re: Blue's Barracuda
I noticed my brake lights were not working a few weeks ago. A few days before I'd had the dash out and when I'd got it all back together and connected the battery I noticed the hazard lights were on so switched them off. The brake lights are routed first through the hazard light switch and then the ...

Caltracs B/E body
These were on the Road Runner, I don't race any more so decided to take them off.
Part number is 4220.
I sanded them down to bare metal and gave them three coats of engine enamel.
Rose joints are as good as new with no wear. The aluminium spring eye bushes are 2 inch diameter so would suit B body ...

Re: Adjustable leaf shackles E body
From what I can see those aren’t super stock springs, or at least not the right poundage for the car. New super stock springs with long KYB shocks is the cheapest fix IMO. Caltrac monoleafs only come in stock or lower ride height so that’s not going to work for you.
Caltracs are available as ...

Re: CB radios
Now and again I scan the CB FM channels and there's very little activity. The M6 motorway is about a mile from where I live and I sometimes hear truckers on channel 19 come and go. There's a few stations pop up on the same channels each time, some I can't copy while others are fairly strong signals ...

Re: Sticking disc brakes on both sides (Cuda).
I've had a similar problem with the Road Runner. The brakes were not binding but the pedal had become more like a switch. No feel to it, touch it and the brakes slammed on. I checked the brake calipers and they seemed fine. Next time I used it I noticed the brake lights were not going off, I had to ...

Re: mot exemption form
The easiest way is to go online and tax it when the MOT runs out. It will say your vehicle is over 40 years old and may be MOT exempt, do you want to declare it as Historic? Click yes, that's it.
