As shown in my piccy in your other thread, i built mine out of a couple of old builders trestles and some steel. Cost £50 and a couple of evenings work. Got the plans from an old copy of practical classics. Been used on quite a few cars now.

I have seen the CJ Autos tilter and it is very good. Trouble is the model strong enough for a charger is about a grand !

I would also be interested in plans on how to make one, PLEASE !!!!!

Dont have any plans, it wasn't that good!

This is the best pic i have. bit of 2.5 inch tube ans some 2 inch too. Reinforced the top with some box section and two supports for the front of the tube. Though you cant see it it the photos, i did fit stabilisers when i did the charger cos i got the centre of gravity a bit wrong.

The car specific bit consists of a 2x4 box section with the 2 inch tube in the centre, then various brackets to bolt to the shell. I always use the bumper mounts + 1 other to stabilise it.

To lock it in position, i drilled a couple of holes through the tubes and just used a 10mm bolt to lock it.

Just make sure your welding is good and that the tube goes THROUGH the 2x4 box section.

Make sense?
