Fiberglass hood-This hood features well-detailed underhood frames and airboxes. It is constructed to be the same weight as the original hoods, and will accept original or reproduction hood pins and bezels. Gel-coat flat finish. Extra-long steel supports are added into the frame where the hinges attach, preventing the inevitable hood warp that factory hoods developed. This hood will accept the original hinge springs or our reproduction AAR hood springs # A0112B

$700

The simple solution, of course, is to do what most of us do and build an engine that actually fits under the hood. ;)

James, When i first bought the car it had one of those fitted as a "Shaker" hood, looked like it was made for the car.

Steve, any idea what Mo's doing/planning for his hood? I would've thought he'd have similar issues with his stroker :-k

Unless he's using a factory inlet

Personally i'd consider all the Mopar type scoops before looking at others, but I'm not averse to a bit of cow induction meself ....... think they're better on a B-body than an E tho

Typical. You go to all that work and expense to fit a Cuda bonnet and you end up needing what you started with. :P
