Nice truck Dean. A 440 will drop straight in, but traction might be a problem!

Went round to see Dean this afternoon and ended up holding a torch so Dean could see what he was doing fixing dodgey brake light wiring in the dark. Now working :D

You can't beat working outside on a cold damp windy day with lack of daylight

You know me Andy I like a challenge.

Must say a week ago I was working on my mates Camaro over in Florida in 80 deg heat, working on my truck in the cold was a bit of a shock.

Well it got me there just, only cut out 3 times coz the silly manual choke conversion don't work properly.
I have managed to get hold of a NOS Carter auto choke unit, which works great, ALMOST, pity the exhaust port into the intake manifold is blocked solid with crap so no heat getting to the choke to bring it off.
Oh well thats the nest job I s'pose.
I know i should take the intake off to do it properly, but if I'm doing that I may as well put a 4 bl on it, it's starting again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had a look at this post and saw the picturers of Johns old truck if I remember rightly they were my wheels and they werw ET racing. Shows you how much cars were worth at the time I swapped John (JPC) a 1968 four door Corronet that was in near perfect condition for the rear wheels and all he wanted of it was the front wings. The wheels were worth more than the car
