wheels again!!
will 15 x10 wheels with 3 3/4" backspacing with 295 50 15`s go under the back of a 68 charger?
I think North East Trev has 3 and 3/4 backspace daisy mags on his and has problems with rubbing.sean68charger wrote:will 15 x 8" rims with 3/3/4" backspacing be ok then front and back with the same tyres?
I have 8.5x15 on the back with 4.5 backspace, fitted with 275/60/15 and no rubbing

Backspacing
Ok, while we're on this subject. Does anyone know if 7 x 14" rims with 245x60 rubber & 3. 11/16" backspacing will go under my 73 Duster? 4.5" PCD if that makes any difference. Thanks, Wayne.

Not a problem with room to spareWayne wrote:Ok, while we're on this subject. Does anyone know if 7 x 14" rims with 245x60 rubber & 3. 11/16" backspacing will go under my 73 Duster? 4.5" PCD if that makes any difference. Thanks, Wayne.
68 Charger Tyres
Sean,
We fitted both 275/60 and 70 profiles on Adams 68 both fitted on 8.5 rims not sure of the backspace but it was within 1/2 of the springs.
The 70 ripped off the trims and rubbed in the corners so 60 is the max.
50 should be fine with right backspacing.
Don't forget the radius will change and the difference between 50 and 70 is about 7" per rev that's a lot of gas on a run.
Hope it helps
