Prob wrong , but they did'nt fit the domed top pistons to stock hemis, only the ones on the track, to much detonation apparently. so they fitted flat top.

Pete, go to the back of the class.

Stick it in the back of the taxi, Kev, and if anyone at the Nats asks what you've got in your car, tell them it's a hemi. :D

Kev i bought one these over a year ago still haven't made it didn't like the type of plastic it is made of to hard and a lot of my clear bits were misty. My one is still in the box but reading your thread has made me want to build it. Keep up the good work. Have you talked to blue lately I saw him on Monday talk to him about those head and other bits that I have.

I already have a Hemi in the garage, Sandy.......A complete 2CV engine, true hemi, not this pent roof Chrysler nonsense! :D
Here's some head work, fiddly, fiddly, valve guides, valves, springs, caps, etc. And I've still got the other side to do :? Praise the Lord for Cyanoacrylates! (Plus me thumb keeps opening up, maybe splash some more superglue on it ;) )

Dave, we could have a show and shine event at the nats, just for plastic engines! 8-) Is yours the street Hemi or the Race Only? Is it 1:4? As there are some 1:6 kits floating about as well. I'm very impressed with the quality of the kit, but as you say, the clear stuff is a nigtmare to work with (although mine ain't at all misty) as anyone who's ever snapped their Spitfire canopy into a million bits will testify! ;)
