stupid question, but please help: a friend can buy an old boat with a hemi engine, was done in the '60's . can such an engine be used in a car? is there a lot to change from marine to normal use.

Yeah I remember reading several Hot Rod tech question/answer things in the early 70s about what changes were needed to make an engine run backwards for boat applications. it was just a cam change as far as I can remember but they must have had to run the starter backwards too etc.
I don't think this has been done for years but if this was built way back when it might be an example.

Yeah, I was mulling over what would need changing, like you say the cam, and maybe other ancilliaries like the oil pump, distributor etc...
