Cheers for all the welcomes and comments you lot
Do any of you know how to decipher vin plates? I'm specially interested in finding out what engine was originally in the Fury, coz i'm thinking it was a 383. Its got 'commando v8' badges on the front wings, i know they could have been an 'add on' but i'm not sure. Also if it was 383 equipped, does that mean a 440 could be fitted? Oh by the way i saw a few of your cars up at shakey last weekend, cool cars and good runs

I'm sure those earlier vin# only give the type, not size of engine. /6 or V8.
