Everybody who had pegleg 9C1 Caprices fitted them instead of the GM posi.
I was on the point of buying one before I sold the car.

yes its for 4wds but they do say its used for drag cars
and its locked all the time unless you go round a corner when it unlocks the outer wheel so it can spin up to the speed necessary to get it round the corner without causing the inner wheel to loose traction
i.e spool like operation at the strip but drivable on the street.

they lie through their teeth on the site them....smooth in operation and quiet pops up all over the place
good to hear some real life experiance though cos they do one for my Borg Warner (suffers in the way landrovers half shafts do) and i was sorely tempted.
