I would think the Sox and taxi will be close on the scales next year; Julies will be lighter next year and under 2900lbs with a 650+bhp motor.
I think mine will be closer to 2,400 - 2,500lbs now with all the road stuff like exhausts, lights, etc.
Might have to bump the boost up a bit :D :D

I didn't mess up the shift due to not thinking stright. I messed up the shift because I was wearing heavy shoes with thick soles. You have to put your foot over the switch to get ready for the upshift. But with these bloody shoes on I couldn't feel a thing and went and pressed the switch as I was feeling for it.

If you use apropriate footwear it shouldn't be a problem.

Just make sure you have the correct output shaft endplay when you have fitted the new tailshaft. They don't tell you about that either (although I have told them).
You need to pull the trans apart for this (just into its unit sections - no big deal) and use a feeler gauge to check clearence on the front end of the shaft. It is adjusted with different thickness washers.

On mine the new shaft removed all the end play and forced the overrunning clutch into the back of the trans case.

Actually it did me a good turn. If I hadn't pulled the engine apart to check it I wouldn't have found out the crank, thrust bearing and torque converter were knackered.

So maybe it was just fate.

Thursdays in Hornchurch go like this. Fatling and Firkin Karaoke 'til 11, then onto Moons cos it shuts at 12 (full of drunks, obviously!). There on the pump was Abbot Special Reserve. "What's that?" "Abbot but stronger" 3 pints of that then, Goodnight!

Traction issues ???
Traction issues - Yeah possibly, but been told the Mickeys hook up quite good, will have to wait and find out. Traction hasn't been to much of a problem in the past. In fact I hardly play around with 4 Bar, I have got alternative settings, but it seems to like where it is.

Been looking at some new wheels recently, just reluctant to stomp out the cash at the moment. I would like to get some beadlocks, but they are so bleedin expensive  and dont seem to see many 2nd hand around. In all my years I have never ever had a set of new wheels. Beadlocks that are around also tend to be 16", which will fit just dont wanna go that route.
If & when, then will have a set of slicks for proper playing with :D
