Sorry shoulda bin more specific... my problem is how do i get at the nut?
The horn bit covers the centre with a Plymouth badge. No way to pry it off, no visible screws, clips or anything
steveo- you win
A firm 1/8 turn anti-clockwise and off it popped.
Got me biggest Thammer to no avail- then noticed the two threaded holes either side of the spindle
A simple puller was fashioned from a flat bar wi 2 holes, two long bolts and a spacer of suitable length. Easy.
Now i need to repair all the age/ stress cracks in the steering wheel plastic.
Some sort of coloured resin? Seem to remember Blue had a method
