Thats probably the easiest, rub down to the old Cracklin Rose colour scheme & a quick coat of lacquer.

Been swaying to the Mopar bright green lime colour, what ever its called. Thinking the bright colour might show less of the ripples, deformaties with all the fibreglass panels I've got. (Front wings, Hood, Doors, Trunk)

Not got much done today, 3 trips to the local motor factors to sort out a alternator belt, good job there only up the road.

So, got plenty to do, when I come home & week to get it done in. At least I'm holiday that week, so can afford plenty of late nights.

Got given a gauge pod for the vacuum gauge under the hood. So fitted & mounted that, worked out a treat. Can beat a freebie, when it does what you want 8-)

Changed the fuel pressure gauge & gauge fittings to a 90 degree male to f/male fitting. Smaller gauge, simpler & neater installation, probably weighs less as well :D

Been playing with some fly screen to fill in the gap in the front, between the the grill & lower valance. Hard to explain, but once you see it you will know what I mean.

I managed to make up some rear indicator bulb holders, from the bits I had from the Cuda & few MGB light parts I obtained. Another selection of freebie parts 8-)

Fitted passenger seat belt.

Was told new radiator will be ready Tues & new propshaft will be ready Friday :thumbright: Trouble is I'm off to Poland Monday :P Oh well at least they will be ready to install when I get home.

I know its a bit boring possibly, but satin black would look tough as nails Mark. If you go for a bright bright colour it could look about as hard as Graham Norton with a baseball bat.

I think the motor dictates the colour. It looks as mean as hell.

Sublime Lime is definitely a front runner (I said front Runner, not ROAD RUNNER :P ) at the moment

I say bring back R.RUNNER's Avatar, sexist or not definitely brightens the place up.

Not much to update at the moment, new rad arrived so at least I can fit that when I get home.

Propshaft should be ready as well. Will have to test the drive train up the road, just to make sure every thing is OK ;)

Still no news on Reg, so looks like I will have to be a Trailor Queen  :D

Mark your car is just AWESOME and has a unique sound of its own.
I think it was the pussy in the outer lane that did for you Mark.
She was pulling every second car off the line while the inner lane could have ran the Torrey canyon.
There were absolutely no leaks when you returned to the pits so it was probably the car before you that dropped an 1/8" inch spot of something and she blamed you.
Whilst I appreciate that we all hate lane shut downs for god sake these are 30 to 50 year old cars not new Mercs out of the showroom, and a check for a leaky hose or a sump plug missing is understandable, but it seemed if you dropped a spot of perspiration on the track she would have you off.
Ok I am tired and my rant is over, the crew on the start line really deserve a medal to stand out there for that length of time in that heat in fire suits must be draining.
