I didnt mean to break it, I kicked somebody in the head last night and found out that the foot is best delivered to the jaw or neck and not the cranium!!Dave wrote:What did you do that for?RedRaven wrote:Im in Pain.....I think Ive broken a bone in me foot!!!
Anyway. You are driving to the Nats. Not running.
Anyway its my left foot!!!

2 feet,2 pedals??coincidence????
Dunno if I am alone here but when I get in an auto its left foot braking all the time.
Used to use both feet on the brake pedal in the Dodge till I put the Willwood on..
Na I just use my right foot for both brake and gas!!

That's what I do, though I've only had a few shots at the line up to now. You can always tell the first time someone does this at the line because they do what I did..... Stop VERY sharply indeed much further back than you meant to!Pete wrote:I always two foot up to and on the line, and the initial brake at the top end, but on the road unless the car is "playing up" or cold, I drive right-footed only.

Having read this, I think I shall start practicing driving two footed, though. It makes sense!

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

We're still miles off! Only dropped the 605 in on saturday, mounted the new trans, still waiting on the new prop, got headers, alternator, carb and cooling system to fit, convert the shifter and re-strengthen the old gear box mounts on the chassis, to stop the torsion bars twisting the original chassis
