Your left foot is the reason you have a brake pedal in an auto.
2 feet,2 pedals??coincidence????
Dunno if I am alone here but when I get in an auto its left foot braking all the time.
Used to use both feet on the brake pedal in the Dodge till I put the Willwood on..

i always two foot drive an auto was taught that when i was 14 at the transmission shop, poorly adjusted selector linkages, no inhibiter switch wired up, askin for trouble your right foot wont reach the brake pedal quick enough, also try keepin a poor runnin engine runnin one foot drivin , no chance,

I always two foot up to and on the line, and the initial brake at the top end, but on the road unless the car is "playing up" or cold, I drive right-footed only.

That's what I do, though I've only had a few shots at the line up to now. You can always tell the first time someone does this at the line because they do what I did..... Stop VERY sharply indeed much further back than you meant to! :D Never really spotted it until I did it myself, but see it when it happens now.

Having read this, I think I shall start practicing driving two footed, though. It makes sense! :read2: :thumbright:

I always use left to brake! too lazy to move the throttle foot over that far! bit funny with the duster now, with a manual pedal box in, keep going for the clutch instead of the brake!! FUN!

We're still miles off! Only dropped the 605 in on saturday, mounted the new trans, still waiting on the new prop, got headers, alternator, carb and cooling system to fit, convert the shifter and re-strengthen the old gear box mounts on the chassis, to stop the torsion bars twisting the original chassis
