I bought this car from a really nice guy named Stuart, in Uxbridge, in early November 2006. Its a solid car with hardly any filler, but I think every panel has a small dent in, and the paint leaves a lot to be desired. I like it like that, has a used and abused look to it, and I don't have to worry about where I leave it. If it collects another dent or scratch I probably wont even notice.
The car is a "western Sport Special". I don't think they are especially desirable, but allegedly they are pretty rare. Its obviously white, my second favourite colour for a Challenger, has a 360 sb engine (originally 318) and a 3spd manual gearbox, my third favourite transmission. The interior is Black and it has no power steering and no air con.
The first jobs I wanted to do after getting it home involved swapping bits over from the donor car. I replaced the dash top with a less cracked one, an arm rest and other odd trim bits. Most significantly I fitted the disc brakes and a power booster. This has totally transformed the car, its so nice knowing you'll be able to stop if you need to.
Whilst that was going on I'd also been buying bits to make the car look and feel how I wanted. First up, a new Goodmark R/T style bonnet, purchased from Neil at USA Imports, then a rev counter, passengers door mirror, T/A style spoiler and Tuff style steering wheel, all from ebay. I also bought a complete seat cover set, but after doing the rear bench back I decided the rest wasn't too bad.

As you'll see from the pics the bonnet is still in its factory black primer/paint/whatever. This is because I've not decided what to do with it, black? White? White With black stripe? Its been like that for well over a year now and I still can't make up my mind.
In the future I'd obviously like to find a few more ponies under the bonnet, but I think I be sorting the handling first.
I'm not good at taking photos, so credit for the first goes to Stuart (I think) as I copied it from the advert, and credit for the last goes to Mark (newport100) and his son Ben, as I pinched it off their Nats report. Hope you dont mind Mark.
