How's that work Mick?

I have experienced something like that when I didn't have enough stall speed or rear gearing 3.91 gears.

Comparing my runs with and without slicks;
With slicks my 60fts were better but ET and MPH were down despite the slicks being 2 inches taller.

On the BFG radials my 60fts were worse but it picked up mph and a better ET.

I think the wheelspin and slightly smaller diameter tyre was getting me up the power curve better and gave me higher rpms up the second half of the strip.

Same here...mine spun the bfg ta radials halfway up the track, and was a bugger to keep in a straight line....but the mph was better than with sticky tyres...

Would of been a hell of a lot easier building a bigger motor & getting a 10 normally aspirated (next year) than tryin to achieve a 10 on spray with all the probs that go with it , tis not a bolt on & go run the numbers.

Think the little ole 440 stood up well to all the abuse that was thrown @ it , probably had around 700 HP through it to run the 10 , still runs great with no issues , oil pressure still ok & still sounds well , bearing in mind it's still runnin with a pinched/lifted land on No 2 piston. :shock: :D

Who said nitrous is cheatin?, far from it , just gotta have some balls. ;)

Hope Al runs the times , will be two heavy street lardy arse B bods runnin 10s driven to & from the track listening to tunes. :D

It is very funny that. Because that is always what I tell people. But they never believe me.

Hadn't seen this as haven't been on here for a while, but it was important enough for Gareth to text my mobile and let me nnow when it went up! :D

Bloody blinding news, Mate! Only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't see it! :roll: :D :thumbright:

Fantastic! Makes all the effort worthwhile. =D>
