if it were me would use the same set up as the 69 & a half factory six pack cars ... but add a extra pin ..so you would have 3 long the front , as some fiber class hoods bow up in the middle at speed . .... would also put a larger washer on the under side or cut some steel to make sure it spreads the load of the pin with the hood on the pin shaft ..as with vibration & air pressure ,

I would use more than you think as the speeds you will be going will rip a glass hood off very easily. Remember watching Dunc's Chally going down the track and the hood bellowing out big time I've got 14 dzus fasteners very easy to fit
