Prop Length

Can anyone tell me the length of a prop on a 68 Charger?
I need to get mine done, but need to know at what length :-k

Hi jules
I'm taking mine out tomorrow when all my suspension is coming out. If you let me know where to measure i'll measure mine for you.I have a 904 trans and 8 3/4 diff.

If the gearbox and axle are in the car, push the gearbox yoke all the way in and measure between the centre of the UJ's. Subtract 3/4" and that's the length.

Cheers mick. I'll have to do it that way then.
Got a 727 in mine, so think the shaft is a tad longer.

The shaft will be shorter because a 727 is longer than a 904.

Sorry Dave, I meant the tail shaft of the 727 is longer than the 904 :oops: My Bad.
