Been rebuilding the front suspension all day and finally got every thing back together and went to line up the steering and the noticed fluid on the floor only to find out the power steering box is leaking from the steering input shaft.so after all the cleaning and painting and reassembly i now have to remove the steering box to replace the seal. Does anyone know where i can get the seal from and if the steering box will come out if i remove the headers only. i don't want to strip too much off the car to get it out. I also put new header on and found that the link pipe from header to silencers had been modified at some point and one side is longer than the other so the link pipe runs of center to the prop so i now have to cut and weld the link pipe to correct the problem. i was hoping the car would be done today but after a load of set backs it will be a bit longer to sort out these problems.
Any help or advice on the steering box will be greatly appreciated
Anton

I’ve done the input shaft seal with the box in the car, got the seal from WASP T:01945 588091, just disconnected the column and pulled it up out the way, picked the old seal out, was right fiddley but got it out in the end, new one went in a treat

I used what started out life as a small instrument screw driver, not much use for that now, but worked a treat in this case, just kept going round the seal and prising it out a bit at a time
