Jim the car looks fantastic it's a real credit to you. Seeing a job like this is a real inspiration to those going through the same pain. We are 2 years into the Coronet and some times it is difficult to see the the light at the end of the tunnel. If you have some more pics it would be great to see them

thanks for the kind words chaps a few more naff quality pics, k member had to be changed havin been stoved in, in the centre plus it had been welded to the chassis behind steering box
and amongst the mess under the bonnet theres a 318

few more , engine block is as i brought it bare , and dread to think how many hours i spent on that firewall, the shiny metal on the firewall is what i had to fabricate as i couldnt find a replacement panel

last few , been a hard slog at times and nearly did give up a few times to but glad i stuck with it and for those who am doing a resto keep the spirit up and stay stuck in its allworth it

If you did want another project there is a guy on my message board selling his 1970 R/T convertible 440+6 4-speed car. Numbers matching and fender tag/broadcast sheet complete. Plumb Crazy and white interior on the options.
Worth a bloody fortune when restored.

i see where your coming from dave but i think next project would prob be a strict race car , as you well know doin a resto like that takes so much time out in your life before you know it 2-3 years has gone by and you aint seen much of life apart from cleaning and cutting out the rust and body prepping , all worth it in the end i know but i,m happy at the mo using it and doin things to make it faster , i guess that ole drag racing bug may have got to me
