Nitrous pressure line vs bottle

Post by Anonymous »

Ok go easy on the ford guy.....have a bottle pressure gauge...on the bottle, just mounted one on my cowl as well.
Is/should line pressure the same as bottle pressure ?
May sound like a silly question but just thought Id ask :?

Yes

Have you also put a petrol pressure guage in ( nitrous side )?

I would pay more attention to petrol pressure ( nitrous side ). I set my fuel regulator up with a calibrated guage similar to this. Set my fuel pressure at 6.8 psi guage ( whilst my holley guage indicated 10 psi ) on the nitrous side and 7 psi guage at the carb.

I agree with Jon the gauge readings can vary to actual readings we physically checked the fuel flow rates to be sure on the fuel.

I totally agree with Jon......most important is Fuel Pressure, you don't get enough volume, you'll tip plugs and possibly the tops/sides of your pistons, also pay attention to your total timing in relation to the amount you use, CR and set up, guess you got that sorted.
