Superb Workmanship there Will!

For a Novice welder you sure do good some good work!!!
I've seen cars from 'pro workshops' that were nowhere near as good as this. :thumbright:

See you at the Nats too LoL, I been doing my 71 Gtx for 12 years Doh.
In my defense it was a touch rustier than your 68. :D

Bacca is very impressed with all this wonderful Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-)

Q. The next area i need to hit is the main part of the drivers floor.

It has indentation in it the pro shop would have a swagging machine i dont. Is there anything i can do to make these groves. Hammer and make a wooden mold :? :? :? :? :help: :help: :help:
What would you do ??

Nice solid round tube with a matching routered out piece of wood to match the shape of the bar it's the way I have done it in the past and I will be doing it that way on Derek's boot floor over Christmas.

I routed out a piece of hardwood with a rounded groove to suit the profile of the underside of the indent. Then find a piece of steel bar that fits the curve of the topside of the indent, mark out repair patch, place wood under and bar on top and either hammer down to make indent or for more even accuracy,I used where there was enough room,a pair of carver clamps. The limit with those is the jaw depth as to how far across the plate they will reach. I was very pleased with the results :thumbright:
