Overlap with a joddle is the advice I had for rear quarters, I would use the same, less chance of distortion.

Did you have permission to knock the wall down between yours and the rented garage??

Can't see the rented garage owner being to happy if you did'nt?

Like your style though! :thumbright:

So first sorry Jim its not 2 strips of original factory primmer but it will stop it from rusting

1st rub and rub again
2nd 2k primmer
3nd seam sealer
4th Stone chip (smooth) Smooth my arse.
5th Mclareen f1 chrome finish paints
6th Scratch proof clear lack 3x

Look more like solar reflective flat roof paint but im happy and makes a change from black
;)

Yes i do i work

normal day is up at 6am
7.00 work
16.30 finished work
17.30 in garage
22.00 finished
23.00 sleep

Long days but i hate this stage and want the car in paint on finished axles
ready for the fun bit of trying to remember how it goes back together.

Bottom edge of grill is painted satin black and when I did my grill resto I painted all the silver with wheel silver. This is one of the most fiddly jobs.

All the info you need is here.

If you have brought the bolt kit with the big plastic washers for the top and bottom of the grill the bolts that come with the kit are 6mm short so make sure you have some other bolts. I e-mailed the place I got mine from and they didn't even reply to my e-mail.
