Fuselage is now stripped and sanded down from 120 through to 1200 grit.
Here's a glimpse of one of the tail fins. The ends of the fins weren't perfectly circular and were a mm or so out. A good friend of mine spun up some 'caps' that are the exact diameter as the Caddy lights. They were
then blended in by Larry Ward.

As an example, I've just bought a couple of gorgeous Waltzer cars. Fantastic original fairground artwork. They won't get touched apart from refurbishing the upholstery

I know where some of those old factory lights are in a derelict site, tempted to go and liderate them now and turn them into a £360 each lamp shade

£360 also for lamp shades made from old grame rphones,if it is not a rare one i have seen gramer phones well under £100 a bit of work and £260 profit.
