Replacement window winder crank?

Post by MilesnMiles »

my truck windows decided not to work today. The handle spins around with the splined part, but the window doesn't crank up or down. took the panel off for closer inspection, but can't see inside the door.
what's knackered and where do I get new bits?
Rockauto list no manual window parts

My Truck did that it had worn the teeth off the crank slider in the door...so i bought some steel same thickness, cut a new piece and some new teeth cut in using the original slider to get spacing right, then replaced and welded it into place to repair the worn bit.....good as :D

That might not be the case with yours though...unless you can see it ;)
