69 Roadrunner suspension settings.

Post by Chris&Adam »

Hi All, I have done a search and looked through "stickies" but to no avail. I need to know the toe in/out and caster/camber for my 69 Roadrunner. I think some bushes may need replacing as the car has a "magnetic" attraction to the barrier in the middle of motorways!!!! Thanks in advance.

Camber: Left 1/2 deg
Right 1/4 deg

Caster: Manual -1/2 deg
Power +3/4 deg

Height 1 7/8 inch 1/8th difference side to side max

Toe 1/8th

I tend to reverse left right settings to cope with UK road camber

3/4 to 1 degree negative camber both sides. 3/32" toe in. As much positive caster as the adjustments will allow while keeping the other settings.

The figures I posted are factory, I believe Daves are the settings he prefers to make the car handle better

Correct! The factory settings are to make the steering as easy as possible and not the best for handling.
