Got Mick's crash damaged Coronet to fix.
After cross checking the chassis, i cut away the scrap metal.
Mick got hold of a complete sill section with b post, so after blasting i lined up and welded it in
New panels aren't here until late December so cars going in to storage next week.
Some pic's to be going on with

Cracking work Ashley!!!
I KNOW this is a stupid question, but why did you have to change or remove part of the floor panel? is it connected to the inner Sill, etc?
Great pictures, whows how weakly they were build - I am starting to wish I hada post car.......

Nice work Ash , the damage is much worse than it initially looked, but it looks like it's in good hands

Pete floor pan was rotten
If this was a post car the damage would have been alot worst, with the roof been dragged down with the impact.

good work, not a lot of strength in her with inner & outer sill & floor removed, did it move the gaps much with all of this out ?

You can see now why subframe connectors are a good idea on heavy hitters......
I guess this is why the cars are so light for their size - that and the fact they have no safety/driver assist gizmos....
