There used to be a Mark Donohue Javelin in Brentford sat for years never moving...tried to buy it a few times no luck or progress...

Then it just went never seen it since...it was Blue wonder if its the same car Tony ??

Shaun who used to be a member on here, has a AMX or Javelin...white Manual...very Nice...lives about 2 miles from me.

It seems like an AMX (68 -70)would be ideal for the space you have over there ,I remember seeing two at the Nats in 2011 ,a blue one and an orange one ,and A bodies are what we yanks think would be an ideal car over there ,from what I see yall do like those A bodies from the pix they seem to fit just fine

Don't let Sam's pics fool you Drew (nice garage Sam). That is a lot wider than the UK average. My standard single has about 6 inches either side going past the door frame. Fully in About 10 inches on the passenger side and about 12 inches! Being of larger frame i have to wind the window down to get out then wind it up stood flat against the side to close!

When house hunting i've also found some pitfalls when looking at standard houses with double garages. Many seem to be 4.8M x 4.8M...........Not long enough!

Most modern built houses (post 90) with single garages seem to give you 5M x 2.5M........The Dart wont fit in em!

You are indeed very lucky in the US/Canada when it comes to space!

This was the first time my car came to the new house.
2" either side of the door handles

I've driven it in and out just half a dozen times since then, and crap myself every time. I've grazed the door handle twice on the pebbledash

Oh, and all credit to Franko for getting his transporter in there!

I had to make some small adjustments to the garage (Victorian stable, 13'x 13') I added 7 feet so plenty of room for the car & a couple of bikes

I do love my little garage

Even more now I know a bit of it's history...
I was built about 1900 as the stable, so horse one side, carriage the other and stable-lad and hay upstairs!

I found out recently a mate used to rent it in the 70's- It had big double wooden doors and a cobbled floor downstairs, but he'd done it up as a one-up-one-down and lived there for a few years with his missus!!
Another mate rented it in the late 80's as a workshop to do up his Mk1 Cortina. The owner died and her family gave him notice to quit. He didn't take it seriously and eventually they scrapped it along with the n.o.s. wings and loads of spares. Plonker!

Yeah, don't be fooled...my garage is basically 4 garages two side by side and back to back. It's huge.

Could fit two small cars in there at a slight angle.....

Or one dodge =p

I saw a blue Javelin in Kent a year or so ago it was either Dartford or Bexley, cant remember now

ahh yea a garage with some history , does the door have 2 parts or is it one big door?

When I moved in it was split vertically. I now have the main bit split horizontally so I can have the top open but keep the kids out if I'm welding or summat. The other bit I have split vertically in 3 so I can open one bit as a human or motorbike entry or 2 or 3 bits to have it wide open.
Sorry probably makes no sense without a pic, I'm sure I have one somewhere...
