Never thought that about the trunk Steve, but I wonder if the way the roof overhangs the rear window has a similar effect?
Prob causes all sorts of turbulence and has the opposite effect

These earlier cars are really growing on me and it looks like this ones going to be a corker, will it be ready in time for the nats?

Cheers Pete, cant take much of the credit, that has to go to Craig Elliot whos done most of the work on the car, cant wait for it to be finished, may see you at dragstalgia yet

Jerry are they Dynamic LCAs ,what rear suspension,,,SS springs or Caltracs???

Not sure on the make Pete, think I got them from Mancini, they are the heim jointed ones though, there's also double adjustable tubular upper a arms, rear suspension is inboarded springs and caltracs,
