I wondered how things were going with this one Matt...I know exactly what you mean when you say "busy on other stuff" and "no time" but great to see it back on track. :thumbright:

Hi Chaps,

still undecided on bringing it to the Nats , as I'm not completely happy yet with the way it's running. I just haven't had the time to work on it. Watch this space !

I think the next EFI conversion I do might be with a Megasquirt system. Not exactly plug-and-play, but I've learnt enough to know that I'd rather be looking at individual sensor outputs than general error codes. I also want to use a distributorless ignition system (coil near plug), and all OEM production-line parts. Anything else is old-tech or potentially unreliable.

Have you looked at megaJolt Lite Jnr

its a nice ford EDIS based wasted spark ignition.

the TACH adaptor circuit can be used to trigger your current EFI

or as you have already realised the megasquirt does EDIS or direct coil driving dependent on how much you want to spend.
