Well - it was a GOOD day sunday.
She is on her wheels, self supporting (no massive TWANG as she was lowered) and everything looks good.
Managed to finally get the bolts on the end of the pivot shafts (needed the cars weight to stop them turning in the bush) and managed to torque up the diagonal struts too.

Best of all, for the first time in 8 months (I know, I know) she fired up. I'd started to forget why I bother and just 5 minutes of wubbawubbawubbawubbaVROOOOMwubbawubba brought it all back. Damn that car sounds good.

Have taken a couple of pics (obviously) so heres the remaining task list.
1) Get ride height sitting better (low at moment)
2) Get pivots torqued (too low, cant get torque wrench in there. Might need to go up on ramps.
3) Fit flexis the brakes (on the way - was an omission. doh) and bleed.
4) Visit monkfish for alignment.

Then we are pretty much there. Phew. Inevitable pictures later :)

Pete - ref old brakes. No leaks, they worked OK and MOT'd. One sticky pot is all (uneven wear on pad). Even stopped the car - but it was on my list to upgrade for ages. This seemed the ideal time is all - there wasnt much difference between the hassle of getting old ones rebuilt and putting something more up to the job on, cost wise. I dont care about originality - will give the next owner more to undo :)

Wil - Happy to make you laugh. At the end of this I will post a list of 'things I learned and ballsed up' which may make you snort coffee down your nose.

Get booked in sooner rather than later as we are a bit booked up at the mo and the workshop is shut the week before the nats :)

:thumbright: Will do.
Like I say, the only bit I am waiting for is the flexis from wilwood - on the way, parcel despatched... I'll call in the next couple of days.
Will have to take a punt on the UCAs - says torque to 60ftlb, but its an open ended bolt, so will need a crows-foot or something. I'll just do them pretty-damn-tight and get s-l-o-w-l-y to Bananarama! :)

All - the final update. I promise. No more pictures of my bananarama front end :)

We got there in the end. My afternoons work (well, a Pete afternoon) that dragged me for months is over. Sorted, done, finished, aligned, wonderful.

The final part of the jigsaw was the wildwood lines (dog-leg connectors. Really rubbish by the way) are on. Roger at Monkfish has aligned her, driven her, and pronounced her good. This is high praise and I was suitably chuffed.

He also says he has managed to get more castor into her than any other mopar (the trick UCAs) and now is having thoughts about how to achieve with his beautiful charger. Don't worry - if he does it he will fabricate factory parts himself ! :)

Big thankyous to all who contributed with advice, parts, loans. Its a silly thing, but really appreciated - sets me back on track when I wander off...

Final pics. Enjoy. Thankyou. Goodnight...
