Rust protection, what to use ?

Good idea....another thing worth doing is to go around all of your wheel arches and inner fenders and make sure they are alk properly sealed. I had a couple of small gaps between the inner and outer fenders just behind the front wheels. I used seam sealer to seal them then a couple of coats of waxoil.....job done :thumbright:

I dont have as bad a rust issue as alot of you might have so it is interesting to see what people use :thumbright:
My car came from the Nevada valleys and later Arizona, so the weather has been kind to it.I want to keep it that way.
Unfortunately we keep throwing salt all over the roads, I noticed the local council gritter trucks out a couple of nights ago.
I must get it filled up with something before I get it on the road.
Those desert cars are solid , the rubber parts and interior suffer sun burn but that is alot easier than replacing rusty parts
